Our client, a private equity backed business growing at an accelerated rate, are seeking a Part/Qualified Group Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
As the Group Finance Analyst, you will play a key and diverse role within the Group Finance function, supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Group Financial Controller with management information reporting, management accounting, finance operations and treasury.
Duties as the Group Finance Analyst but not limited to:
- Ownership of the month-end process for the Group, including the upload and review of entity trial balances and the consolidation of the Group.
- Responsible for monthly deliverables, both internal and external, including P&L, Cash Flow & KPI reporting, as well as Net Debt schedules.
- Support the wider Group, Head of FP&A and Group CFO with the forecast, budget and long-range planning cycles.
- Project work and collaborating with external consultants as required, including integration of Adaptive Insights with local accounting software (e.g. Sage 50, Sage 200).
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts for central entities (P&L, BS, CFS, KPIs).
- Help prepare bi-weekly payment runs ensuring accurate and timely payments made to all suppliers.
- Maintain cashflow forecasts for all centrally controlled entities working with multiple currencies (GBP/EUR/USD/BRL).
- Support in the Groups Treasury management processes, including reviewing and analysing cashflow forecasts for the Group.
- Prepare monthly prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, provisions, and other relevant P&L / BS schedules to a high standard and post monthly journals.
Experience, skills and qualification required as the Group Finance Analyst:
- CIMA, ACA, CA or ACCA Part Qualified / Qualified.
- Working as either a financial/management accountant or analyst in a Group Finance environment, undertaking both reporting tasks and financial operations tasks.
- Experience of building and maintaining complex Microsoft Excel models.
- Experience of Finance BI or consolidation software (Adaptive Insights preferable).
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of acquisitions and integrations.
- Understand underlying business drivers behind trends and variances.
