Job Summary: Seeking a Middleware Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in the Shopify Hydrogen framework and expertise in Golang, ReactJS, AWS services, and microservices architecture.

Job Description:

  • Design and develop middleware and backend solutions using the Shopify Hydrogen framework with a headless approach.
  • Implement UI designs by integrating Figma Mark into projects.
  • Develop scalable backend services using Golang, NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB databases to manage data efficiently.
  • Build and maintain GraphQL APIs for seamless data querying.
  • Utilize AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS to deploy and manage cloud-native applications.
  • Containerize applications using Docker for consistent deployment environments.
  • Develop and maintain Golang microservices ensuring high performance and reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with frontend and design teams to implement headless Shopify solutions using the Hydrogen framework.
  • Translate Figma designs into functional components and integrate them effectively.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Ensure robust database design and optimize queries for performance.
  • Implement and manage AWS infrastructure components to support backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
