Role: DBT Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: London UK - 2-3 days a week in office

We are looking for DBT and Snowflake to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable ELT pipelines, implementing data transformation frameworks, and ensuring data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using DBT
  • Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions
  • Create and manage dimensional and data mart models
  • Implement data quality testing and monitoring frameworks
  • Perform query tuning and performance optimization in Snowflake
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Support CICD deployment processes for data solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with DBT Data Build Tool
  • Expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse
  • Advanced SQL development and performance tuning
  • Data modelling (Star Schema, Dimensional Modelling)
  • Experience with ELT/ETL concepts
  • Git version control and CICD practices
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Python or PySpark
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
