Shopify Plus Ecommerce Platform Manager Location .London UK- 3 fixed days a weekAbout the Role We are seeking an experienced Platform Manager to join our Global Technology D2C team responsible for managing and optimising our Shopify Plus ecosystem of 400 stores worldwide This role requires both business and technical acumen with an end-to-end understanding of D2C architecture spanning storefronts integrations operations and data flowsAs part of our team of Shopify Plus platform you will oversee its setup configuration and ongoing performance ensuring that our stores run smoothly securely and efficiently You will act as a subject matter expert providing technical proficiency documentation training and Handson problem-solving while enabling new capabilities and integrations across the businessThis is a pivotal role for someone passionate about eCommerce technology platform scalability and operational excellence in a high growth global environmentKey ResponsibilitiesSetup configuration and ongoing management of Shopify Plus instances integrations and upgradesOversee and optimise the end-to-end D2C architecture including integrations with PIM OMS WMS Finance CRM and Reporting systemsManage user permissions access controls and customer data privacy requests deletions data accessImplement and manage Shopify Flows and customer service workflows as neededPartner with territory platform managers to align global standards and share best practicesTranslate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions and work with engineering teams on frontend and backend designTroubleshoot critical Shopify configuration issues in production environments and drive timely resolutionCreate maintain and deliver technical documentation process guidelines and user training materialsAct as a bridge between technology and business teams communicating platform capabilities and enabling adoptionContinuously refine document and train teams in platform usage to improve performance and efficiencyQualifications Experience3-5 years technical management experience in eCommerce with Handson Shopify Plus expertise in Mult instance global environmentsProven experience with PIM OMS and WMS systems10 years IT Business Analysis or technical solution design experience including at least 3-5 years in eCommerceStrong working knowledge of Shopify frontend standards APIs and data structuresTrack record of translating requirements into practical innovative solutionsSkilled in technical documentation requirements gathering and architecture diagrammingProficient in tools for process design technical specification and knowledge managementDemonstrated ability to deliver on time manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaborativelyExcellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiencesDegree in Information Technology Engineering Business or related discipline
