My client is a large main contractor working on many large construction projects countrywide, the role is based in the North East of England.
ROLE OVERVIEW
They require a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager to join their team supporting our MEP business. This role will be based from our Newcastle office with travel across the NE Region.
You will report directly to the Group HS&E Director.
You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental advice service across the business to ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant legislation.
This is a great opportunity to support a growing friendly team, taking a lead on all environmental actions and objectives, as well as providing ongoing Health and Safety support.

WHAT WE ASK FOR
The successful candidate will have experience in driving environmental standards within the construction industry. Membership to IEMA, IES, or IEEM is required.
You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Experience with ISO14001 standards is essential; experience with ISO9001 and ISO45001 is advantageous.
This role involves travel to various sites across the region, so a full and valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
