Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database architectures and solutions (both relational and NoSQL).
  • Optimization: Optimize database models for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring that data flows seamlessly across systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineers, business analysts) to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Data Governance & Security: Implement best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Database Deployment & Upgrades: Oversee database deployment processes, versioning, DDL promotion, and upgrades.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation for database architectures, models, and integration workflows.
  • Agile Environment: Work in Agile teams, ensuring smooth delivery of database solutions while adhering to Agile best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • NoSQL Experience: Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as Couchbase or Cassandra.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • DevOps Tools: Proficiency with Git, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Data Modeling: Strong experience with data modeling and designing complex database schemas.
  • SQL & Scripting: Advanced SQL, scripting (Python, PowerShell).
  • Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence, Rally.
