We are working with a well-established and growing business within the power generation / generator hire sector, who are now looking to appoint an experienced Depot Manager to lead their operation in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in diesel generators and power solutions, who can drive performance across the depot, workshop, logistics, and customer service functions.
The Role
As Depot Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring smooth operations, high standards of service, and efficient delivery of power equipment to customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall depot operation including service, maintenance, and dispatch
- Leading and developing a team of engineers and depot staff
- Ensuring generators are prepped, tested, serviced and ready for hire
- Coordinating transport/logistics and delivery schedules
- Maintaining compliance with H&S, quality standards and company procedures
- Managing stock, equipment control, and depot organisation
- Supporting customers with technical queries and operational planning
- Driving depot performance, productivity, and commercial results
