A well-established and leading UK-based generator hire company is seeking a dedicated Depot Foreman to join their team in the South East. The company provides dependable, sustainable power solutions across a wide range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, utilities, and electrical contracting.

This position is responsible for leading the Engineering department at the South East Depot, overseeing a team of Generator PDI Engineers, Electrical PDI Engineers, Workshop Engineers, and Labourers. The successful candidate will ensure efficient depot operations, uphold health and safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards for all equipment delivered to clients.

  • Ensure all equipment complies with current safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and efficient work environment in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Manage and support a multi-skilled engineering team within the depot.
  • Conduct performance reviews and arrange targeted training where necessary.
  • Attend customer site surveys, installations, and respond to equipment breakdowns when required.
  • Participate in the depot’s out-of-hours call-out rota.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels of generators, cables, and related assets to meet demand.
  • Manage stock replenishment and record accuracy through the company’s InspHire database.

Full UK driving licence is essential.
