They are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Crane Engineer who is dedicated to safety and quality, capable of independently solving problems, yet equally effective within a team environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists
- Understand and ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Consult with customers post-inspection, clearly communicating next steps with an emphasis on preventative maintenance
- Perform frontline maintenance, attend breakdowns, carry out fault-finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists
- Anticipate and prevent potential issues proactively
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Relevant experience with cranes and hoists
- Current UK driving licence
