We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to cover Bristol and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites. This is a customer-facing position where delivering a high level of service is essential. You will attend both scheduled maintenance visits and emergency breakdown callouts, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair powered access equipment on-site
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics efficiently
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts
- Accurately assess and estimate required repairs
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Ideally CAP registered
- Previous experience working with powered access equipment (e.g. Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG)
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Proven engineering experience within the powered access industry
- High attention to detail when assessing and estimating repairs
- Ability to contribute to wider team and ESG objectives
