We are currently recruiting Setter/Operators to support continued growth across our manual and CNC boring and milling operations. Opportunities are available on both Day Shift and Night Shift. This is not a rotating shift pattern; successful candidates will be assigned to a permanent shift.
Shift Patterns & Hours
- Day Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
- Total: 37 paid hours per week
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break (Mon–Thu), no lunch break Friday
- Overtime paid at T + 1/3
- Sunday overtime paid at T + 1/2
- Night Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 18:00 – 06:00 (4 × 12-hour shifts)
- All hours paid at T + 1/3
- Paid lunch break
- Overtime available Friday after 13:00, Saturday and Sunday
- Night shift overtime paid at T + 1/2
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate: Skill dependent, up to £20.00 per hour
- Company pension: 8% total contribution (5% employee / 3% employer)
- Health & Safety Bonus: £250 every 6 months for qualifying employees
Role Responsibilities (All Positions)
- Candidates must be able to:
- Set and operate relevant manual or CNC machines
- Program CNC machines where applicable
- Work from customer-issued drawings and specifications
- Machine medium to heavy workpieces
- Self-inspect components to ensure quality standards
- Be flexible and willing to work overtime when required
Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls, and Cimco CADCam or Fusion software is highly desirable where applicable.
