The predicted salary is between 13 - 20 £ per hour.

We are currently recruiting Setter/Operators to support continued growth across our manual and CNC boring and milling operations. Opportunities are available on both Day Shift and Night Shift. This is not a rotating shift pattern; successful candidates will be assigned to a permanent shift.

Shift Patterns & Hours

  • Day Shift
    • Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
    • Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
    • Total: 37 paid hours per week
    • 30-minute unpaid lunch break (Mon–Thu), no lunch break Friday
    • Overtime paid at T + 1/3
    • Sunday overtime paid at T + 1/2
  • Night Shift
    • Monday – Thursday: 18:00 – 06:00 (4 × 12-hour shifts)
    • All hours paid at T + 1/3
    • Paid lunch break
    • Overtime available Friday after 13:00, Saturday and Sunday
    • Night shift overtime paid at T + 1/2

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: Skill dependent, up to £20.00 per hour
  • Company pension: 8% total contribution (5% employee / 3% employer)
  • Health & Safety Bonus: £250 every 6 months for qualifying employees

Role Responsibilities (All Positions)

  • Candidates must be able to:
  • Set and operate relevant manual or CNC machines
  • Program CNC machines where applicable
  • Work from customer-issued drawings and specifications
  • Machine medium to heavy workpieces
  • Self-inspect components to ensure quality standards
  • Be flexible and willing to work overtime when required

Experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls, and Cimco CADCam or Fusion software is highly desirable where applicable.
