My client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and servicing of industrial UPS systems, ensuring power reliability and safety across critical operations in more than 150 countries. They work with leading industries to support their transition toward safer and more sustainable energy solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced UPS Engineer to join a dynamic field service team covering Central Scotland. You will be responsible for start-ups, maintenance, and emergency repairs of UPS systems, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their critical systems remain operational 24/7, while also providing expert technical support and fault-finding services when required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform commissioning, maintenance, and emergency repairs on UPS and associated electrical systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
- Travel throughout the UK (including occasional overnight stays)
- Interpret electrical drawings and diagnose faults effectively
- HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven field service experience, ideally within UPS or power electronics industries
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident working under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Competitive salary up to £50,000
