LTek Recruitment are currently looking to hire a diesel generator engineer for our client who are a leader in the hire of temporary power solutions. The client are a very well established company with service depots spread out across the UK with a fleet of over 2500 generators ranging between 20 - 1400kva.

The Role:

  • This is a field based role so the successful candidate will be travelling to a single place of work and would need to live a commutable distance from the location listed.
  • Your main duties will be:
    • To carry out fault finding, reactive and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair to a hire fleet of diesel generators ranging from 20kva to 1400kva.
    • Synchronizing to diesel generators to DeepSea and Comap controls.

The ideal Candidate will have:

  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the maintenance and servicing of diesel generator sets
  • Experience with DeepSea and/or Comap control panels
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible approach to hours

The Salary Package:

  • Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 per annum + OT paid at time and a half (OTE £45k per annum)
  • 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
