Job Description
You will work closely with our customers to ensure their power systems are functioning optimally and provide technical support when needed. This role requires a strong understanding of generator systems, electrical engineering principles, and excellent problem-solving skills.\\nResponsibilities:\\n * Install, commission, and maintain generator systems for clients in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.\\n * Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of generators to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\\n * Troubleshoot and diagnose generator system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.\\n * Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.\\n * Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including site surveys and system design.\\n * Keep accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance schedules, and equipment inventory.\\n * Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to generator systems.\\nRequirements:\\n * Proven experience as a Generator Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in electrical engineering.\\n * In-depth knowledge of generator systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\\n * Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.\\n * Proficient in using testing equipment and diagnostic tools for generators.\\n * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.\\n * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within Manchester and occasionally outside the city.\\n * Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or generator systems will be an advantage.\\n * We offer a competitive salary package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
