LTek Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CHP Engineer to join a growing and well-established business covering the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience working on Combined Heat & Power systems, gas engines, or related power generation equipment who is looking for a stable role with strong earning potential and progression opportunities.
The Role
As a CHP Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of CHP units across a range of commercial and industrial customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining CHP systems and associated equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Working on gas engines and power generation equipment
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Providing excellent customer support on site
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Participating in an on-call rota where required
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a CHP Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with gas engines, generators, or power generation equipment
- Relevant engineering qualifications desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
