We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing and maintaining a wide range of electronic fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.
Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance and corrective call-out work on electronic fire & security systems across Merseyside, North Wales & Cheshire and surrounding areas.
- Servicing and maintaining:
- Security/Intruder Alarm Systems (Galaxy), with exposure to multiple system types such as Texecom and Scantronic
- CCTV systems (Analogue and IP)
- Fire Alarm Systems (Advanced/Kentec), ideally with experience across Ziton, Menvier, C-Tec
- Access Control Systems (Paxton)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Excellent attendance record
- Good computer literacy (use of tablets and laptops daily)
- Willingness to undertake standard industry security screening
Salary & Pay Structure
- Basic salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Paid travel: All travel is paid door to door at the standard hourly rate
- Unplanned overtime: All hours worked beyond 40 per week paid at normal hourly rate
- On-call standby:
- Weekdays – 3 hours at time-and-a-quarter
- Weekends – 5 hours at time-and-one-half
