We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Doncaster, working as a Maths Teacher. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information: HMP Doncaster is a category B local resettlement prison situated in South Yorkshire. The prison houses a male population. HMP Doncaster also operates as a resettlement prison working with prisoners, particularly those serving less than 12-months, to ensure that they have the support they need for resettlement as well as access to the services and support available to them after release.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Have experience creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners.
- Have a good previous track record of achieving quality targets.
- Have willingness to engage with and produce accurate and timely reports.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have an ability to motivate and enthuse learners in the subject matter.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines/targets.
- Advocate for and engage consistently in positive team working.
