We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells, working as a Learning and Skills Worker. This role is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis, working 37 hours per week.

We are currently rated “Good” by Ofsted and have partnerships with over 1000 industry and employer partners, ensuring our learners secure their place as the movers and shakers of the future. Our business is growing year on year due to our continued success as a leading provider in prison education.
Site Information: HMP Five Wells is a Category C prison that is based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Built in 2022, this state of the art prison accommodates a male prison population. HMP Five Wells is committed to celebrating diversity and promoting equality throughout their services. The prison’s aim is to make Five Wells a better place to live, work and visit through collaborative working with third‑party partners, the MOJ and its surrounding communities.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Achieve performance and quality targets
- Produce accurate and timely reporting
- Demonstrate positive team working
- Have experience of conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups
- Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities
- Have experience of successful working in an effective multi‑disciplinary team
- Hold Hidden Difficulties Level 2 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
- Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
