Role Overview
To design, coordinate and deliver a high-quality, inclusive enrichment programme that enhances learner engagement, supports curriculum priorities and contributes positively to behaviour, personal development and the overall learner experience within a custodial environment.
Responsibilities
- Be passionate about the benefits of meaningful enrichment on learner wellbeing and learner outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and support learning of individuals and groups.
- Work with groups of learners with a range of abilities.
- Work successfully in an effective multi-disciplinary team.
- Create stimulating, vibrant environments conducive to learning and motivational for learners.
- Achieve performance and quality targets.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting.
- Demonstrate positive team working.
- Maintain a good track record of quality target achievement.
Qualifications
- Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification – with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
- Hold at least a Level2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
