We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Rye Hill, working as an Industrial Cleaning Teacher. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information: HMP Rye Hill Prison is located in the rural setting of Willoughby, which is situated near Rugby in Warwickshire. It is a Category C prison that houses adult male inmates. The prison’s regime, facilities, and support services are designed to address the diverse needs of its population, promoting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending rates. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience in creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have previous track record showing achievement of quality targets
- Have successfully produced accurate and timely reports
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Can motivate and enthuse learners
- Have organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
- Demonstrate positive team working
