LTE Group has an exciting opportunity to join our Risk and Compliance Department as a Risk and Compliance Business Partner on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.
Based out of our Openshaw campus in Manchester, this role involves significant travel across various locations to support the business.

What the Risk and Compliance Business Partner overview.
Act as a strategic partner to business units, including Novus prison education, helping to embed risk, compliance, health, safety & environmental practices into daily operations. The role ensures the organisation meets legal and ethical standards while encouraging a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Director, the role leads and improves risk management, health, safety & environment practices across the business. The role supports business units, including Novus prison education, in following laws and policies, conducting audits and inspections, supporting training, and providing expert advice. It includes preparing reports, investigating incidents, and promoting a safe, responsible culture. Regular travel to Novus sites across England and Wales is required, along with close collaboration with recognised trade unions.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Degree/Diploma in Risk Management, Law, Business, Health & Safety, or related field would be an advantage.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., IRM, CCEP, IOSH) would be an advantage.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, or health, safety & environment
- Proven track record of implementing Health, Safety & Environmental & Risk and Compliance Systems
- Experience of ISO Standards (45001/14001/31000) implementation
- An understanding of Occupational Health Programs
- Experience in education or public sector environments would be an advantage.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills an advantage
- Capable of drafting policies, reports, and training materials.
