We have an exciting opportunity to join our LTE Group as a Portfolio Management Officer (PMO) on a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) basis. This is a hybrid role working from our Openshaw, Manchester office.
Role Responsibilities
- Strengthen portfolio governance, assurance, and reporting across our programmes and projects.
- Ensure activity aligns with organisational priorities, risks are effectively managed, and benefits are realised for learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Maintain oversight of the Group’s project and programme portfolio, providing high-quality analysis, insights, and continuous improvement to support decision-making at the highest levels.
- Develop robust governance frameworks, champion best practice, and drive meaningful improvements.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Experience supporting or managing portfolios, programmes, or projects in a relevant sector (e.g., education, public sector, or commercial environment).
- Experience with portfolio management tools and Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial, operational, and risk data to generate clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Project or portfolio management certification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, MoP, APM PMQ) desirable.
