About the role

We are seeking a resilient and creative teacher to join our Alternative Provision. You will deliver engaging maths lessons that provide students with access to GCSE content — for some, this may be their very first experience of formal maths learning. With patience and adaptability, you will build confidence, develop key skills, and foster a positive attitude towards learning.

Skills, and Experience

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
  • Significant experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Proven track record of high‑quality teaching in delivering subject specialism or current valid industry specialism.
  • Working as a team.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meeting delivery targets and plans.
  • Accurate and timely reports and records.
  • Positive contribution to planning processes.
