Total People, part of the LTE Group, is seeking to appoint a Lead Quality Assurer (Qualifications) to join the Quality team on a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week) basis. This role is based in the Northwest/Greater Manchester area and reporting to the Head of Assessment and Exams, this role will lead quality assurance activity for accredited qualifications across the sector, ensuring robust and compliant processes are in place in line with Awarding Organisation and JCQ requirements.
The successful candidate will provide accurate, relevant and up-to-date information to Awarding Organisations within agreed timescales, while assuring the quality of education and assessment delivered to learners undertaking accredited qualifications. The role includes identifying development needs, supporting learning coaches through advice, guidance and training, and helping to maintain the quality and integrity of qualifications across the organisation.
In order to be successful in your application you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- Coaching – able to deliver high quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs
- Communication – excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning
- Planning – attention to detail and a track record in developing and delivering robust, effective, prioritised plans which achieve KPIs and strategic aims
- Performance - proactively driving performance and engagement
- Customers - ability to present Total People in a positive manner, persuading and influencing where necessary
- Continuous improvement – seeks to improve processes and implement and embed changes
- Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level higher than delivery), and/or current updated CPD TAQA, equivalent or to relevant sector requirements/ willing to work towards IQA, equivalent or to relevant sector requirements /willing to work towards Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent
- Experience of coaching to support learning
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
- Detailed understanding of End Point Assessment and Gateway
