Working with learners from Levels 4-7, you will create engaging learning experiences that combine academic excellence with current professional practice. You'll contribute to curriculum development, assessment, student support and quality improvement, ensuring students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and reflective practice required for success in the counselling profession.

We have an exciting opportunity at our City Centre Campus to join our Counselling Health and Social Science Department as a HE Counselling Lecturer on a permanent, part time (14.8 hours per week) basis.
Responsibilities
You will deliver high-quality teaching, develop and assess curriculum, support student learning and contribute to continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree
- Current and valid industry specialism
- Certificate of education or PGCE
- Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification
- English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above
- Significant experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- Proven track record of high‑quality teaching in delivering subject specialism or current valid industry specialism
- Working as a team
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Meet delivery targets and plans
- Accurate and timely reports and records
- Positive contribution to planning processes
- Proven track record of positive student satisfaction
