We’re recruiting an exceptional Administration Manager to join our team. We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Transforming Lives, our prison education provider at HMP Forest Bank, working as an Administration Manager. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40hrs per week.
Who are Novus Transforming Lives? Novus Transforming Lives is a leading UK-based education provider dedicated to delivering high-quality learning and rehabilitation services within the prison system. We are currently rated “Good” by Ofsted and have partnerships with over 1000 industry and employer partners, ensuring our learners secure their place as the movers and shakers of the future.
HMP Forest Bank is located in Pendlebury in Salford, Greater Manchester. The prison is a Category B Male Prison that accommodates remand and sentenced offenders. It offers a diverse range of education opportunities and employment support.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Have effective management of a team of Senior Administrators
- Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales.
- Hold, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales, a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or Business Administration OR have relevant industrial experience and skills.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification.
- Provide excellent customer service across a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Have experience contributing to an effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment.
- Have experience maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data, using data recording systems as required.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate up to date IT skills
