We’re on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Administrator to join our team! We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Altcourse, working as a Senior Administrator. This role is offered on a Fixed Term (Maternity Cover August 2026- July 2027), full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information: HMP Altcourse is a category B local prison, receiving sentenced and remand adult male prisoners as well as young offenders. The prison's aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy or be willing to gain within agreed timescales.
- Hold, or be willing to gain within agreed timescales, a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or Business Administration or have relevant industrial experience and skills.
- Provide excellent customer service across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Have experience contributing to an effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment.
- Have experience maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data, using data recording systems as required.
- Have time management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate up to date IT skills.
