Role Responsibilities

Deliver ESOL education to a diverse range of learners, helping newcomers integrate, build confidence and improve communication skills. Plan and assess lessons, meet delivery targets and maintain accurate reports and records. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to planning processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate of Education or PGCE
  • Current and valid industry specialism
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by awarding organisation)
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification
  • English and maths at level 2 Grad C or grade 4 and above
  • Significant experience delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Proven track record in subject specialism or current industry specialism
  • Team‑working, verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and timely reporting and record‑keeping

Career Development

Support will be provided through the Teaching Academy to progress toward qualified teacher status, including PGCE delivery, mentoring and continuous professional development.
