Are you passionate about helping learners build confidence and achieve success in maths? We’re looking for a committed, creative, and enthusiastic Maths Outreach Tutor to join our ESW team at HMP Parc. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging Essential Skills Wales maths sessions, provide targeted outreach support to learners across the prison, assess starting points and progress, adapt teaching to meet individual needs, and motivate learners to develop the numeracy skills they need for everyday life, further learning, and future employment.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners.
- Have experience of achieving quality targets.
- Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners.
- Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets.
- Commit to positive teamworking.
