What does a Safeguarding Case Officer do at the LTA?

As a Safeguarding Case Officer, you would play a key role in helping to maintain safe and inclusive environments across tennis by:

  • Providing high-quality support in the management and investigation of safeguarding concerns and cases.
  • Supporting the delivery of high safeguarding standards across the sport.
  • Managing criminal records checking processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safeguarding concerns are handled appropriately.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Experience in safeguarding case management, ideally within sport, education, charities, health, social care or youth-focused organisations.
  • Strong investigative, analytical and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with a range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement.
