We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities:
- Project Execution & Schedule Control
- Manage and monitor onsite execution activities in line with approved project schedules and milestones.
- Track daily and weekly progress at site and identify potential schedule slippages.
- Drive recovery plans, prioritization of activities, and corrective actions in coordination with engineering and construction teams.
- Ensure timely closure of site-related deliverables supporting fabrication, construction, and load-out activities.
- Engineering & Site Interface Management
- Act as the focal point between site engineering teams and offsite Engineering teams.
- Coordinate resolution of Engineering RFIs, design clarifications, and site queries to avoid execution delays.
- Ensure engineering changes, revisions, and deviations are properly reviewed, approved, and communicated at site.
- Support constructability reviews and engineering support required during yard execution.
- Yard / Construction Coordination
- Work closely with yard management, construction teams, and subcontractors to align execution with engineering intent.
- Support fabrication, assembly, installation, pre-commissioning, and load-out readiness activities.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviews at site.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary onsite interface with client representatives, PMC, and inspection agencies.
- Support client meetings, walkthroughs, inspections, and audit activities.
- Ensure timely communication of site progress, key issues, and mitigation plans to project management and client stakeholders.
- Quality, HSE & Compliance
- Ensure all site activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.), and contractual requirements.
- Support implementation of project Quality Plans, ITPs, and inspection requirements.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site safety procedures.
- Promote safe execution practices and a strong safety culture at site.
- Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify site execution risks related to engineering, interfaces, constructability, or resources.
- Escalate critical technical, schedule, or safety issues with clear impact assessment.
- Support evaluation and implementation of Management of Change (MOC), field change notices, and deviations.
- Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and circulate weekly site progress reports highlighting progress, RFIs, constraints, risks, and action plans.
- Provide clear status inputs for project reviews, PSRs, and management updates.
- Maintain records of site decisions, action items, and key technical resolutions.
- Cost & Resource Monitoring
- Support monitoring of site manpower deployment, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Highlight potential cost impacts arising from rework, delays, or scope changes.
- Coordinate with project controls and commercial teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil or related discipline).
- 20+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with significant exposure to EPC / FEED execution.
- Proven experience working at project sites, fabrication yards, or construction locations.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, construction sequencing, and site constraints.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
