About the Role: This is a newly created role designed to act as the critical link between the warehouse operations and sales office. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across our UK and international supply chain. Youβll be the driving force behind order fulfilment, warehouse coordination, and logistics administration - making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If youβre a proactive, organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being hands-on with both people and processes, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Coordination: Prioritise and communicate shipments with the warehouse team ensuring goods are picked and packed correctly and efficiently.
- Stock Management: Oversee and input all stock movements using Orderwise (WMS), including inventory held in a local third-party warehouse.
- Customer Order Management: Process customer orders and ensure all associated paperwork and dispatches are completed accurately and on time.
- Export Documentation: Prepare and manage all documentation for international shipments, liaising with freight forwarders and couriers to ensure smooth transit and customs clearance.
- Logistics Communication: Act as the central point of contact between sales and warehouse - proactively managing delays to inbound and outbound deliveries and identifying opportunities to improve delivery lead times.
- Problem Solving: React to supply chain disruptions and changes with speed and composure, reprioritising tasks where needed to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing processes in a constructive, team-friendly way while maintaining strong working relationships across the business.
About You:
- Proven experience in a logistics, warehouse coordination, or supply chain support role.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and international shipping documentation.
- Hands-on experience with a WMS.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills β able to juggle priorities and stay ahead of the curve.
- A confident communicator β assertive without being abrasive.
- Personable and professional β a strong team player who can build rapport with colleagues across warehouse, sales, and leadership.
