The company also provides contract and toll manufacturing services to a global client base and is recognised for its technical expertise and high-quality products.
We are seeking a Key Account Manager to focus on strategically managing and growing a portfolio of major accounts in the North of the UK, building long-term relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.
The Role
This is a relationship-driven position, ideal for a commercially minded professional with experience in B2B sales and account management within chemicals or related sectors. The role will involve farming existing accounts, managing 5 - 6 key customers, and supporting tenders and strategic projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, drive growth, and maintain high levels of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts in the Northern UK region, focusing on long-term relationships and account development.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, engaging with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts, including new products, application areas, or service solutions.
- Lead and coordinate responses to tenders and strategic requests, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational capabilities.
