EOTAS Tutor for Female Secondary Student (Year 11)

Clacton-on-Sea

SEMH Children and Young People

1:1 tuition for student Educated Other Than at School (EOTAS).

Up to £27 per hour for qualified teachers/tutors

LT Support are supported a specialist alternate provision with their recruitment of Tutors to raise the level of engagement in education, achievement and attainment of students worked with. You will also support improving the rate of progress and the student's wellbeing.

Currently we have a part time requirement 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), 9:30am-12:30pm working with a student supporting English, Maths and Science GCSEs.

Additional students can be arranged.

• Teaching students and classes of children and young people facing Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenge • Working within community settings to meet the additional needs of students with SEMH • Adapting teaching to improve educational outcomes for students with SEMH • Coaching and modelling good teaching and learning practice for other staff

Ideally you will have knowledge of GCSEs and secondary curriculum and knowledge of safeguarding and SEN.

Not only will you monitor and facilitate the learning of the young person, but you will also be supporting the parents/carer in developing partnerships.
