Our client is looking for a proactive and commercially focused Marketing Manager to drive marketing activity across employer engagement, learner attraction, brand awareness, and business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys building campaigns, creating meaningful content, and working closely with sales and delivery teams to generate measurable results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns that support the organisation’s growth plans across apprenticeships, adult learning, funded training, commercial training, or related skills provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and events.
- Develop marketing activity that supports employer engagement, learner recruitment, stakeholder awareness, and contract performance.
- Create high-quality written and visual content for social media, newsletters, website pages, brochures, employer communications, learner campaigns, and case studies.
- Work with business development teams to support lead generation, employer pipeline activity, and campaign follow-up.
- Support the promotion of training programmes, qualifications, apprenticeships, funded provision, and commercial learning offers.
- Maintain and develop the organisation’s brand presence across online and offline channels.
- Track campaign performance and produce clear reports on engagement, leads, conversions, enquiries, and marketing impact.
- Manage website updates, SEO activity, email marketing, social media scheduling, and promotional content.
- Support events, employer briefings, webinars, open days, careers events, and stakeholder engagement activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand delivery priorities, learner needs, employer demand, and regional growth opportunities.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a marketing role with responsibility for delivering campaigns.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Experience managing social media channels, email campaigns, website content, and digital marketing activity.
- Ability to work closely with sales, business development, operations, and senior leadership teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident using marketing platforms, CRM systems, social media tools, Canva, CMS platforms, email marketing tools, or analytics systems.
- Ability to review data and use insights to improve marketing activity.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within apprenticeships, adult education, employability, commercial training, further education, or skills provision.
- Understanding of employer engagement, learner recruitment, or funded training.
- Experience producing campaign reports and supporting lead generation activity.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, LinkedIn campaigns, Google Analytics, automation, or video marketing.
- Experience supporting regional growth campaigns across the North West or wider national provision.
