About the Opportunity

LT Selection is proud to be partnering with a well-established independent training provider to recruit an experienced Senior Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused relationship manager who enjoys building strategic partnerships with employers and delivering long-term workforce development solutions. You'll work with complex employer accounts, collaborating with senior stakeholders to maximise customer success, identify growth opportunities and support apprenticeship and funded learning programmes. The Role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of key employer accounts, ensuring exceptional customer experience whilst identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Working closely with internal delivery and operational teams, you'll become a trusted adviser to employers, helping them address workforce challenges through funded training solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic national employer accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Deliver outstanding customer success through proactive account management.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, retention and long-term partnership development.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and drive excellent service delivery.
  • Support employers with workforce planning, apprenticeships and funded training solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking and industry engagement.
  • Represent the organisation at employer forums, networking events and industry conferences.
  • Monitor account performance using CRM data and management information.
  • Produce account plans, forecasts and regular client reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement across customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Proven experience in strategic account management.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a consultative approach.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, funded learning or workforce development.
  • Experience within logistics, transport or supply chain sectors would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable depending on client travel).
