Role: Automotive Tutor Salary: £30,000 per annum + £2,000 bonus Location: Middleton, Rochdale, Greater Manchester Role Overview This is a full -time Automotive Tutor role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. The tutor will inspire and engage learners, provide technical knowledge to apprentices and assess and monitor learner progress within a professional training environment. Key Responsibilities - Deliver training and assess learners in the training centre. - Ensure all training elements are completed in line with programme guidelines and awarding body requirements. - Monitor and verify learner progress. - Embed English and Maths into training programmes. - Promote good workplace practice. - Upload evidence of learning using online platforms. - Participate in observations of teaching and learning and implement improvements. - Promote and maintain safe working practices within the centre. - Complete additional duties requested by management in line with the role. Essential Criteria - High level of automotive technical knowledge and skills. - Level 3 industry qualification in automotive or equivalent. - English and Maths qualification at Level 2 or above. - Ability to support learner progress and deliver technical training. Desirable Criteria - Good understanding of modern automotive technologies. - IT and digital experience. - Knowledge of light, heavy and hybrid vehicles.
