Role: Warehouse Skills Training Manager Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum Location: Moston, Manchester, Greater Manchester Role Overview This is a full -time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The role oversees warehouse training operations, ASF -funded delivery and forklift programmes while managing instructors and tutors. The post holder will ensure strong compliance, health and safety, curriculum planning and learner outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Manage the daily operation of the warehouse, including scheduling, resource allocation and utilisation. - Lead the delivery of warehouse pathway and forklift training. - Develop an employer -aligned curriculum and realistic learning environments. - Support learners to achieve and progress through high -quality teaching and inclusive practice. - Manage team performance, continuous development, equipment and training resources. - Maintain ambitious standards in teaching, assessment and learner engagement. - Contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements. - Act as the Health and Safety Lead, completing risk assessments, safety checks and investigations. Essential Criteria - English and Maths at Level 2. - Assessor qualification such as CAVA. - Teaching qualification such as AET. - Experience within warehouse, logistics or vocational skills training. - Strong understanding of quality, compliance, learner progress and health and safety. Desirable Criteria - Level 3 qualification in Warehousing and Logistics. - Forklift Truck Operator or Instructor qualification. - Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
