We are seeking two experienced Skills Coaches – Hospitality to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training and support learners across hospitality pathways. Due to significant learner growth across London, this role will focus on the Kent–London corridor, supporting an expanding learner base in the capital.
The Role
You will manage a caseload of hospitality apprentices, delivering engaging and effective teaching, learning, and assessment both remotely and face-to-face. You will support learners’ development of technical knowledge, practical skills, and behaviours, while working closely with employer partners to ensure timely achievement and high-quality outcomes.
This is a home-based role with regular travel across London and surrounding areas. Travel and associated expenses are supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training across Hospitality pathways (Level 2–4)
- Manage and support a caseload of learners and employer partners nationally
- Conduct onboarding, delivery sessions, progress reviews, and assessments
- Deliver engaging training sessions both online and in person
- Support learners in achieving Functional Skills English and maths
- Monitor learner progress and implement timely interventions
- Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Embed safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, and inclusivity into delivery
- Adapt teaching approaches to support learners with SEND (with specialist support)
- Maintain accurate learner records and compliance documentation
- Promote training programmes and support employer engagement activities
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong occupational experience within the hospitality sector (ideally 4–5 years in luxury environments at management level)
- GCSE English and maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Passion for developing talent and supporting learner success
- Ability to build effective relationships with learners and employers
Desirable:
- Hospitality or Culinary qualification at Level 3 or above
- Previous experience as a Skills Coach, Trainer, or Tutor
- Teaching, training, or assessing qualification
- Experience delivering both online and face-to-face training
