LT Selection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Standguide, a purpose-led employability organisation expanding its Connect to Work service across Lincolnshire.
The opportunity
This is a rewarding frontline role for someone who believes that the right support can transform a person’s confidence, independence and future. As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will help people facing health, disability or other barriers move into and sustain competitive employment through structured, person-centred and evidence-based support.
You will combine coaching, employer engagement and partnership working, supporting each participant from referral and vocational profiling through to job search, placement and sustained employment.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a varied caseload and deliver tailored employment support from referral through to sustained work.
- Complete vocational profiles, agree clear employment action plans and maintain purposeful job-search activity.
- Build trusted relationships with employers and match participants to suitable, sustainable opportunities.
- Work alongside health, local-authority and community partners as part of an integrated service.
- Support participants to overcome practical and personal barriers while building confidence and independence.
- Maintain accurate, timely records and achieve agreed service and contractual KPIs.
- Uphold IPS fidelity, safeguarding, equality, quality and data-protection standards.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in employability, coaching, careers, health, disability support or another person-centred service.
- A positive, resilient and compassionate approach, with the ability to motivate people through change.
- Strong communication, organisation, coaching and employer-engagement skills.
- Confidence working to targets, managing competing priorities and using data to track progress.
- The flexibility to travel across Lincolnshire.
