Introduction to the role

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the team. This is a role for someone who is ready to take ownership of their accounts, bring real strategic thinking to the table, and hit the ground running. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities at pace, hitting tight deadlines and maintaining excellent client relationships throughout.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading on the creation and development of media materials, including press releases, press kits, fact sheets and case studies.
  • Developing proactive, well-informed pitch ideas for clients based on their industry, current trends and key announcements.
  • Driving consistent, impactful media results across a portfolio of clients, with a focus on top-tier and targeted trade coverage.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with journalists and influential voices across relevant sectors.
  • Daily news monitoring and competitor analysis, and translating insights into opportunities for clients.
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships with confidence, keeping clients informed, updated and well-supported at every stage.
  • Researching and assessing relevant speaking platforms and industry events that position clients as experts in their field.
  • Contributing to strategic communications planning across your accounts.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and bringing creative thinking and fresh ideas to the team.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Supporting new business activity, including research and proposal development.

What we're looking for:

  • 3 to 4 years of PR agency experience, with B2B and B2C exposure preferred.
  • A strong track record of securing meaningful, top-tier media placements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across different clients and sectors.
  • Confidence in managing client relationships independently and handling day-to-day account activity with minimal oversight.
  • An organised, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple clients and workstreams simultaneously.
  • A creative, energetic personality and a genuine interest in the sectors we work in.
  • Someone who brings fresh thinking to the table, shows initiative and shares ideas and knowledge openly with the team.
