We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing technology consultancy delivering secure, data-driven solutions. You’ll work on complex and meaningful projects, designing and building scalable data platforms, pipelines and engineering solutions that support analytics, intelligence and decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and engineering solutions
- Work with clients to understand requirements and translate business challenges into technical solutions
- Build ETL/ELT processes and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
- Design data models, schemas and architectures to support analytics and intelligence use cases
- Improve data quality, governance and security across data solutions
- Support cloud-based, hybrid and on-premise data platforms
- Contribute to technical discussions, client engagements and solution design
Essential Experience:
- 3+ years’ commercial experience in data engineering
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Knowledge of technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow or similar
- Experience with databases, data modelling and data warehouse solutions
- Understanding of CI/CD, software engineering best practices and secure development
- Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance or willing to undergo the process
