Presales Technical Consultant - MSSP - Cyber (PT & IR) - Hybrid - £80k in England

A Technical PreSales Consultant with expertise in Pen testing (Applications and Infrastructure, Cloud risk management, Configuration Reviews, CE and CE +), Adversary Simulation & Incident Response is required. A good understanding of clients' technical requirements and scoping engagements/proposal writing for our clients, alongside account management, is essential.

Duties include:

• Supporting pre-sales activities across all core services, focusing on technical assurance, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Responding to inbound sales enquiries and liaising with clients on a technical and commercial level.
• Recording and managing leads and opportunities in the CRM.
• Arranging technical scoping calls and meetings.
• Capturing and understanding client’s cyber security requirements, applying a consultative approach to addressing needs and identifying solutions.
• Technical scoping of engagements.
• Production of client proposals and quotations.
• Account management and client liaison.
• Responding to ITTs and managing bids.
• Day-to-day support of the Sales Team.
• Working closely with technical consultants to ensure new services and developments are well understood.
• Supporting the end-to-end customer journey and liaising with the Project Management Office.

Essential qualities include being UK-based and eligible and willing to undergo UK government clearance (SC minimum). A passion for cyber security and a broad understanding of modern technologies, including cloud architecture, cloud services, web applications, web services, IP networks, common operating systems, and security controls, is required. Candidates should have a good understanding of common cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients are necessary. A strong appetite for continuous learning and expanding expertise in cyber security, technical assurance, and incident response is also important.
