A specialist digital forensics business is looking to hire a Senior Digital Forensic Analyst to join its laboratory team in Warwickshire. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced analyst to work across a broad range of investigations involving mobile and computer forensics, while also supporting quality, peer review, mentoring and more complex client-led work.

The role

You will manage and deliver digital forensic casework across multiple investigations, including more complex examinations where technical expertise and clear reporting are essential. The role also involves supporting wider lab operations, contributing to quality standards, and acting as a senior technical point of contact within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver forensic examinations across computer and mobile device investigations
  • Handle more complex casework and bespoke analysis requirements
  • Produce accurate, high-quality forensic reports and findings
  • Support peer review and quality assurance across analyst casework
  • Assist with client discussions and technical scoping where needed
  • Contribute to process improvement, training and mentoring within the lab

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of forensic processes, standards and best practice
  • Experience with leading forensic tools used for computer and mobile examinations
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical judgements
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent commercial experience in digital forensics
