SecOps Project Manager You'll run the delivery of security operations projects for enterprise clients: SOC onboardings, SIEM and EDR rollouts, vulnerability management programmes and incident response service deployments, most of them built on Microsoft Sentinel, Defender and Azure. You'll own each engagement from scoping to handover, sitting between the client, the SOC and the engineers making it happen. The essentials ~Β£60,000 - Β£80,000k ~ Hybrid, working from home with one day per week in the London office What you'll actually do Run several client engagements at once, end to end, covering SOC onboarding, security monitoring, vulnerability management and professional services work Be the client's main contact throughout, setting expectations early and keeping them informed as the project moves Build project plans that fit the client's environment, the managed service being delivered and sound security practice Pull together SOC analysts, cloud engineers and security specialists so that new tooling lands cleanly in the client's estate Spot risks early, whether in the client's environment, the tooling or their compliance obligations, and deal with them before they bite Keep scope, timelines and budgets under control, reporting regularly to the client and to internal leadership, and feed lessons from each project back into how delivery works What you'll need Essential: At least five years of project management experience, ideally in a managed services or cyber security setting Working knowledge of managed security services, including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management and cloud security A track record of delivering projects where cyber security technologies were deployed and integrated Experience running multiple client projects in parallel and managing the trade-offs between them Confident with clients, and able to coordinate technical teams across departments Experience delivering projects on Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, including transformation, migration or modernisation work Nice to have: PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management certification Experience working in or managing a SOC on behalf of clients Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 and GDPR Agile or Scrum experience, or exposure to DevSecOps practices around automation and tool integration
