Salary: £75k – £95k

You’ll join a diverse team of exceptional talent delivering cutting-edge data engineering solutions for ambitious, high-growth organisations across the UK. Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering complex data architecture and engineering engagements. This role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their influence with senior stakeholders, take ownership of major client engagements, and remain hands-on with modern data platforms — while continuing to grow toward a Director-level role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll work closely with Directors to support bids, contribute to propositions, and turn bids into pipeline.
  • Using Microsoft Azure, Fabric and Databricks (and more) you'll lead the full lifecycle of engagement from design and delivery of robust, scalable data platforms.
  • Writing and reviewing high-quality Python and SQL for data transformation, automation and analytics.
  • Translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior, non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing data engineers and architects, setting technical standards and best practice.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience in data architecture and data engineering, including end-to-end platform design and delivery.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services for data storage, processing and analytics.
  • Proven experience working with modern data platforms such as Fabric and Databricks, with strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience leading complex client engagements or workstreams, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to bid support, pre-sales or proposition development, with the ability to shape high-quality technical responses.
