Software Engineering Role – £30K-£50K – Remote Ready to tackle some of the most exciting challenges in Cyber Security? Join a rapidly expanding organisation at the forefront of Cyber Defence, where you’ll help build a cutting-edge platform transforming how businesses protect themselves from Cyber threats. This is your opportunity to push the boundaries of innovation, solve complex problems, and make a tangible impact every day. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of automating the Pen-testing function, working alongside a dynamic team to develop next-generation security systems. Your work will directly contribute to reshaping the future of Cyber Security and revolutionizing threat detection for organisations across the globe. As a Software Developer you will: Be integral to developing new Security platforms that protects businesses worldwide. Work with cutting-edge technologies, including C++ and a proprietary scripting language, to build robust systems from the ground up. Build, optimize and maintain a distributed microservices architecture. Proactively identifying potential threats and weaknesses within customer networks, analyzing patterns, and providing critical insights to customers. The right Software Developer will: Have experience in proprietary scripting language specifically in C++. Comprehensive knowledge of memory management and Standard libraries Knowledge of low-level concepts such as Operating Systems and Networking Underlying knowledge of OS abstraction layers or networking protocols Comprehensive understanding of security concepts and protocols such as CIA triad, access control, or OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
