Job Description
Junior Cybersecurity Consultant
Location: Hybrid – 2days / wk London – Sorry, NO Sponsorship available
Salary: £35k – £45k
You're early in your cyber career — but you're hungry to grow fast, do meaningful work, and progress your journey in cyber security.
We’re building a next-generation cybersecurity consultancy — one that does things differently. In a crowded market full of noise, we stand out by being the trusted, independent voice clients can rely on. No fluff. Just hands-on, pragmatic advice and support that makes organisations measurably more secure.
What You’ll Be Doing
From day one, you’ll be in the mix — working alongside experienced consultants and engaging directly with clients, including major household names. This role is hands-on, varied, and full of growth potential. The best way to learn is by doing, and that’s just what you’ll do.
You’ll:
- Support the delivery of projects like security gap analysis, maturity reviews, risk assessments, technical evaluations, and crisis simulations.
- Run aspects of client engagements — including semi-automated reviews of cloud environments, security questionnaires, and technical documentation.
- Help clients understand and prioritise risks — then develop effective, real-world solutions and controls to address them.
- Work across IT and business teams to deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
- Draft client-ready reports and documentation, supported by senior consultants.
- Get involved in pre-sales conversations and help spot new opportunities for us to add value.
- Build lasting client relationships by being a trusted, honest voice that delivers real outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We’re not expecting years of experience — we’re looking for driven individuals with a real passion for cybersecurity and the ambition to accelerate their career.
You’re probably a fit if you:
- Are passionate about cyber and genuinely want to build a career in this space.
- Have exposure to core cybersecurity principles, tools, or methodologies — and a desire to keep learning.
- Bring a proactive, “let’s make it happen” mindset to your work.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and change — you like fast-moving environments and problem-solving.
- Communicate clearly and professionally — both in writing and in person.
- Have a high work rate, strong integrity, and a collaborative approach.
- Bonus: you’ve had some experience in a client-facing or consulting role — even if it’s been limited.
