Information Security Analyst – TECH & GRC Background - Take Ownership, Drive Compliance. World-leading organisation with a global footprint is seeking a driven Information Security Analyst to take full ownership of the ISO 27001 compliance framework. This role is suitable for someone who is driven, ambitious, and wants to drive compliance by assessing, refining, and implementing the required controls.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the ISO 27001 compliance framework and associated controls.
- Assess, refine, and implement required security controls to meet regulatory and business needs.
- Work with Microsoft Purview, Office 365 DLP, and Microsoft security tools to protect information assets.
- Translate policies into practical, embed-ready controls and processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Information Security, GRC, or Risk & Compliance roles.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, DLP, Purview, Office 365 stack, and Microsoft tools.
- Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to balance regulatory demands with pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
- Background in IT Support or technical roles and transition to GRC is advantageous.
Location, Salary & Conditions
- Location: HULL – Hybrid (4 days on-site per week).
- Salary: £50,000–£55,000.
