A Technical Pre‑Sales Consultant will support all pre‑sales activities across the core services, focusing on technical assurance, penetration testing and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries and liaise with clients on a technical and commercial level.
- Record and manage leads and opportunities in the CRM.
- Arrange technical scoping calls and meetings.
- Capture and understand clients’ cyber security requirements, applying a consultative approach to address needs and identify solutions.
- Perform technical scoping of engagements.
- Produce client proposals and quotations.
- Account management and client liaison.
- Respond to ITTs and manage bids.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Sales Team.
- Work closely with technical consultants to ensure new services and delivery methodologies are well understood; engagements are appropriately scoped and all requisite information identified.
- Support the end‑to‑end customer journey and liaise closely with the Project Management Office.
- UK‑based and eligible for UK Government clearance (SC minimum).
- Passionate about cyber security with a broad understanding of modern technologies, cloud architecture, web applications, IP networks, operating systems and security controls.
- Communicate the benefits and assurance of services clearly to clients.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
- Strong appetite for continuous learning in cyber security, technical assurance and incident response.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in technical pre‑sales within cyber security, penetration testing and incident response.
- Excellent stakeholder management and consultative sales skills.
- Knowledge of client scoping, proposal writing and opportunity management.
